Simple Sloppy Joe's | December 2020

Each month, the Food Shelf selects a Recipe of the Month, and provides shoppers with all the ingredients necessary to prepare the dish, along with a recipe card. Our December, 2020 Recipe of the Month is Simple Sloppy Joe's, and is available beginning Monday, December 14th, while supplies last.

Cook Time: 30 mins

Serves 4

Ingredients:

1 lb. ground beef

1 onion chopped

1 packet Sloppy Joe Seasoning Mix 15 oz can tomato sauce

Hamburger buns

Directions:

1. Brown meat in large skillet on medium high heat.

2. Add chopped onion to meat and cook until translucent.

3. Stir in seasoning mix packet and can of tomato sauce.

4. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve in rolls.
