The Randolph Area Food Shelf is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and does not have any paid employees.  It functions solely on the support of its dedicated volunteers and through community contributions.

 

 

The Randolph Area Food Shelf envisions a community in which every individual has access to sufficient food.  The Food Shelf will seek to actively engage the communities of Randolph, Braintree, Brookfield and East Granville in support of this vision. It will seek to generate a variety of resources: financial, volunteer and food (including locally grown), to provide an array of quality foods and improved nutrition through education.  The Randolph Area Food Shelf will adapt and respond to changing needs of the community to achieve this vision.

 The mission of the Randolph Area Food Shelf is for the charitable purpose of providing food supplies to people in need in the central Vermont communities of Randolph, Braintree, Brookfield and East Granville.

1. Provide quality food in a confidential, non-judgmental, welcoming way.

2. Respect individuals, the community and the environment.

3. Demonstrate stewardship of and appreciation for economic, volunteer and food resources.
